Every cycle, people call altcoin season months before it arrives and donate their Bitcoin to the market in the process. Rotation has an order to it, and skipping steps is expensive. This is the checklist I run before moving any meaningful size out of majors.
The five signals
Bitcoin dominance rolling over at resistance, ETH/BTC trending up for more than two weeks, stablecoin pairs leading volume, large caps breaking range highs before small caps move, and funding still neutral while price climbs. Until most of those line up, patience pays better than rotation.
